Jorge Garza is the Graduate Program Manager for CMCI, where he loves connecting with graduate students and helping them advance their education. Before CU, Jorge worked at the Graduate School of Louisiana State University, advancing equitable admissions, organizing for educational equity for Dreamers, and serving in the Peace Corps in Northern Guatemala.
Jorge graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's in Sociology and from Northern Arizona University with a Master of Arts in Sustainable Communities. Currently, Jorge is finishing his doctorate in Educational Leadership and Research from Louisiana State University.Ìý
Together with his wife, Lauren, Jorge spends most of his time out of the office hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, biking, camping, and trying to stop their cats, J.K. Meowling and Cinnabon, from scratching up their furniture.
