Kellen Wilson joined Colorado Law in April 2026 as Director of Marketing and Communications.

In her role, Kellen leads a team focused on attracting and retaining top students, faculty and staff; building community within the law school and among alumni; and sustaining and strengthening the school’s strong local, regional and national reputation.

Since joining CU Boulder in 2016, Kellen has worked as Director of Executive Communications and Speechwriter for Chancellors Justin Schwartz and Phil DiStefano and as Assistant Director of Communications in the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

She previously worked as a reporter for a community newspaper and as public relations director for a nonprofit nature park in Western North Carolina.

Kellen earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she served as managing editor for The Daily Tar Heel student newspaper.
