Day-of schedule

  • 5:30-7:00 a.m. – Live interviews with CU Boulder spokespeople available

  • 6:45 a.m. – Folsom Field opens

  • 7:00 a.m. – walk with CU media relations to Norlin Quad for student interviews

  • 7:15-7:45 a.m. – Interview opportunities with students and Chancellor Justin Schwartz

  • 7:50 a.m. – stage for video of processional

  • 8:00 a.m. – Procession begins

  • 8:20 a.m. – Media must be inside Folsom Field

  • 8:30 a.m. – Commencement ceremony begins

  • 11 a.m. (roughly) – commencement ceremony ends

  • 12 p.m. (roughly) – Folsom Parking Garage reopens

About this year’s ceremony

  • Actor and philanthropist Kristin Davis, best known for her role as Charlotte York in HBO’s “Sex and the City” and its revival “And Just Like That…” will be this year's commencement speaker. Read more about Davis.
  • The 2026 commencement ceremony coincides with CU Boulder's 150th anniversary.
