Landman’s characters and thematic material make no small effort to communicate our deep relationship with the oil industry in ways I found to have gone unnoticed by most. The Fact vs Fiction podcasts dissect these questions, using Landman as a springboard to analyze the authenticity and real-world interworkings of the Colorado oil and gas industry. This three-episode essay series covers the reliability of wind power, the authority of oil companies, and the rise in American oil dependency. Through my podcast, I seek to further the conversation surrounding these ideas to those who may be unaware of not only the series itself, but the true magnitude of the industry in Colorado.Ìý
