This series focuses on capturing live performance by isolating small moments that show movement, emotion, and control. Instead of trying to document everything happening, I pay attention to split second details like a follow through, a shift in posture, or a focused expression that shows intention. I also look at how lighting hits the subject and how framing can guide what the viewer notices first. In editing, I use color grading, contrast, cropping, and slight motion blur to shape the mood of each image. These choices help turn the photos into more than just documentation and make them feel more focused on the storytelling. Overall, the project highlights moments that might normally be missed and shows how performance can be translated into still images in a more meaningful way.
