CU Boulder’s United Government of Graduate Â鶹ÒùÔº (UGGS), along with the graduate student governments from the University of Denver, Colorado School of Mines, CU Anschutz and Colorado State University, is one of the founding members of the Colorado Federation for Graduate Â鶹ÒùÔº (CFGS). This organization is the first of its kind in the country.

CFGS, recognized by the National Association of Graduate-Professional Â鶹ÒùÔº (NAGPS), is an advocacy group formed as a result of major issues that arose last academic year—proposed tax bill, DACA, the PROSPER Act—which would have benefited from a statewide support network. Going forward, CFGS will advocate for and support the needs of graduate students across the state of Colorado.
