This week brings a performance highlighting life as a Latina immigrant, a screening of the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation's new documentary, a night focused on DACA, the Veterans Day Ceremony and more.
New voting location on campus
The Environmental Health andÌýSafety Center, room 220, is serving as the on-campus voter service andÌýpolling center for the current election and is open until 6 p.m., Nov. 6, and 7 p.m., Nov. 7. There also is a 24-hour dropbox near the UMC.
Top research stories of the week: Nov. 6 edition
This week's research looks at aÌýnew mechanism for battling influenza, the evaporating atmospheres of 'hot Jupiters,' children and the sleep-disrupting effects of screen time, and a report linking climate change to global health.
