Aerospace student team aims for deep space
A CU Boulder student team learned in a conference call with NASA that they have been named a finalist in NASA’s CubeQuest Challenge, which is focused on finding innovative solutions to deep space communications using small spacecraft.

CU Boulder community invited to a ColoradoCare town hall debate
This Thursday, Nov. 3, Boulder Campus Staff Council and CU Student Government will host a town hall debate on Amendment 69, also known as ColoradoCare. The debate will be held from 5Ìýto 6:15 p.m.Ìýin the Abrams Lounge in the Center for Community (C4C).ÌýRon Vejrostek, a spokesperson for ColoradoCare, and Michael Cooke, campaign manager for Coloradans for Coloradans (a group opposed to Amendment 69), will debate the amendment and its impact on Colorado residents. A question-and-answer session will follow.
Âé¶¹ÒùÔº take the helm at CU Boulder’s fall dance showcase
Expect the unexpected at this fall’s Open Space, a dance production featuring brand-new works created, choreographed and performed by CU Boulder students. A tantalizing mix of pieces will be on display forÌýthree different showings from Nov. 11 to 13 in CU’s Charlotte York Irey Theatre.
CU on the Weekend: 'Justice in a Warming World'
David Ciplet, assistant professor of environmental studies, will discuss how to ensure a socially just transition to affordable and clean energy on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 9 a.m., as part of the CU on the Weekend lecture series.
