Plan a Group Visit to the Museum of Natural History!
If you join us for a field trip you can engage with the museum in 3 ways: a tour, a workshop, a self-guided visit, or a combination. These opportunities are created for K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 grades. They are specifically designed to address Colorado Academic Standards. Reservations are required for group visits to the museum. Please reserve at least two weeks in advance.Ìý
- ToursÌýare designed as interactive learning experiences based on museum exhibits, where participants use objects, inquiry, and critical thinking skills to discover, wonder, and reflect. This program is an hour in length.
- WorkshopsÌýare designed as sit-down, in-depth learning experiences for students that involve hands-on problem-solving activities demonstrating the scientific processes discussed. A workshop is a content-rich, stand-alone experience. This program is an hour in length.Ìý
Pairing a tour and workshop together provides a two hour in-depth educational experience for students.
- Self-Guided Visits include self-guided materials to enhance your group's tour of the museum. These visits require reservation but do not cost a fee.Ìý

- Tour: $2 per person
- Workshops: $5 per person
- Tour and Workshop booked together: $4 per person
- Minimum $20 booking
