Registering for Courses
Field courses at the Mountain Research Station are very popular and have small class sizesÌýto maximize student/instructor interaction.ÌýA waitlist will be generated if the course fills and students will be placed based on the date of their waiting list reservation.
REGISTERING FOR A MOUNTAIN RESEARCH STATION FIELD COURSE.
To register for a class at the CU Mountain Research Station you must first pay a non-refundable course deposit fee of $300USD here:Ìý
Once your deposit is confirmed you will receive a permission number via email from Mike Haffey.
Degree students (i.e., CU Boulder students) may then register for classes in the Buff portal with the permission number provided like you would for any other course.ÌýGo toÌý and search for the course name or course #.ÌýAll courses in 2025 fall under EBIO 4100 or EBIO 4460.ÌýAdd the class to your cart and proceed to check out.
Non-degree students (i.e., students from other Universities) need to fill out a . A Welcome email with their Student ID# will be sent to students within 2 business days. Âé¶¹ÒùÔº will then follow the instructions in the Welcome email to activate an IdentiKey password, set up duo authentication, and access the Buff portal to register for classes.
Cancellations
Drop date deadline with 100% tuition refund is shown below for each course IMPORTANT: the course deposit of $300USD is non-refundable.
