UROP is working to send decisions for Summer 2026 and Academic Year 2026-27 applications as soon as possible and expects to have all notices out by the end of Friday, April 17, 2026. Please keep in mind that it'll take time to send all of the notices and applicants with multiple proposals might experience gaps between notices about each application. This message will be updated after all notices are sent.

Workers' Compensation

If a student is injured in the performance of activities related to their project during the term of their award, they might be eligible to receive Workers’ Compensation because UROP stipends can meet the conditions of “paid internships” as described in the university’s workers’ compensation policy.
